Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a deep dive that help us shift troubling patterns, behaviours, and thoughts in a meaningful and lasting way. The point is not to be perfect but to be ourselves. When we feel comfortable in our own skin we are more open to possibility and vitality.
It can be difficult, but we do it together.

Sessions are one hour in length every week. I am a trauma-informed therapist who works intersubjectively, relationally, collaboratively, and creatively. But what does that mean? It means we work together and explore all that you are willing to bring into session, both consciously and unconsciously.
Sometimes what happens between therapist and client reflects other relationships in our lives, and it can be helpful to explore what is happening between us.
To be clear, I don’t presume to be an expert on you; you are. And so we explore together in hopes of finding something real. As you are unique, so our work will be, too.
I come by this work honestly and know how scary therapy can be, but I have found meaning and relief in it. I come from a fine arts background. I am a mother, have owned my own business, and went back to school in my late 40s. It is a human thing we try to do here. We show up and try to work things out.
